About Us

Studio MOORE is the story of Annemie Engels: interior architect, designer and connector between ecodesign, circular economy and social impact.

With a background in interior architecture, experience in education and consultancy, and a strong focus on sustainable partnerships, Annemie developed a clear conviction: design does not only shape objects, it shapes systems, behaviour and responsibility. What we design — and how — determines how long things last, how they are used, and how much impact they leave behind. That conviction is the foundation of studio MOORE.

Our Vision

At studio MOORE, we believe that design choices made at the very beginning determine the majority of a product’s environmental impact. Design is never neutral. It is a conscious choice for short-term convenience or long-term value, for linear consumption or durable (re-)use.

Our Mission

Studio MOORE aims to prove that circular design can be beautiful, functional and economically viable. Through thoughtful ecodesign, strong partnerships and a close relationship with the user, we build an alternative to disposable furniture — one that grows, adapts and keeps circulating.

The Aim

With more functionality studio MOORE aims to give you more time, more space and more peace in mind to connect, care and protect your child. Tested and compliant with European standards, studio MOORE makes safety, health and comfort top priorities.PLAAY° is designed for longevity and intense use over generations to share and pass on stories and values of care and sustainability. Together with our community of partners and parents (to become) we want to create a positive story for the now & the future of your children and their planet.

What we stand for

We actively challenge fast furniture by designing for durability, adaptability and long-term use.

Materials, design, production, logistics, services and reuse are treated as one integrated story.

We collaborate with a mix of local, European and social enterprises and partners, strengthening both sustainability and social inclusion

By creating furniture that carries memories and evolves over time, we foster care, attachment and respect.

We see the designer not only as a creator, but as a coordinator who connects people, expertise and impact.
